校舍設施

本校為一所「千禧設計」的優質校舍,樓高七層,有標準課室三十間,特別室包括圖書館(設有寬敞的溫習室)、五個實驗室、地理室、音樂室、家政室、美術室及設計室、電腦室、電腦輔助教學室、語言學習室及教學輔導室等,另設有訓導室、輔導室、升學及就業輔導室、宗教教育室、校牧室、社工室、教學資源室、教員休息室、會議室及家長教師會資源中心。

禮堂、全校所有課室及特別室均設有空調設備及鋪設電腦光纖網絡,全校約有二百六十多台電腦;學生與電腦的比例約為3.85:1,超過香港中學平均比率4.42:1,更遠超聯合國教科文組織制定的標準(5:1)。各課室已安裝電腦及投影機,支援課堂教學。

校舍設有多個學生活動場地,如多用途學生活動中心、學生資源中心、籃球場、足球場、跳高及跳遠沙池,而且亦盡量善用空間,在禮堂上蓋設籃球場。我們相信各項嶄新資訊及教學設備,讓學生有一個愉快學習的環境,大大提高「學」與「教」的效益。

School Facilities

Our school occupies a quality seven-storey campus built to the Millennium School design, with 30 standard classrooms. Specialist facilities include a library with a spacious study room, five laboratories, a Geography Room, a Music Room, a Home Economics Room, Art and Design Rooms, a Computer Room, a Computer-assisted Learning Room, a Language Learning Room and a Learning Support Room. Other facilities include a Discipline Office, a Counselling Room, a Further Studies and Careers Guidance Room, a Religious Education Room, a Chaplain’s Office, a Social Workers’ Office, a Teaching Resources Room, a Staff Common Room, a Conference Room and a Parent–Teacher Association Resource Centre.

The school hall, all classrooms and all specialist rooms are air-conditioned and connected to the school’s fibre-optic computer network. With more than 260 computers across the campus, our student-to-computer ratio is approximately 3.85:1, providing better access than the Hong Kong secondary school average of 4.42:1 and considerably exceeding the UNESCO benchmark of 5:1. Every classroom is equipped with a computer and a projector to support teaching and learning.

The campus offers a variety of spaces for student activities, including a Multi-purpose Student Activity Centre, a Student Resources Centre, basketball courts, a football pitch, a high jump area and a long jump sandpit. To make the best use of available space, an additional basketball court is situated on the roof of the school hall. We believe that these modern information technology and teaching facilities create an enjoyable learning environment and greatly enhance the effectiveness of learning and teaching.
